I'm hearing varied opinions on drinking water during pregnancy.  I am just now out of the first trimester and suffered horrible nausea from about 6.5 weeks to the middle of last week. Doctors appt went well this AM. I am .5 cm dialated. Nothing to scream about... lol. I was 1-2 cm dialated for over a month with my first, and STILL had to be induced at 41 1/2 wks. Everything is still firm and where it should be, except mr. stubborn is still head up. Luckily this is my 4rth baby though, so uterus is bigger. I'm not worried about ( Read more... )

I posted just a bit ago about how my 38week check up went a little crappier than usual with higher BP and a significant drop in amniotic fluid levels. Well in 2 days I was able to raise my fluid 2 points higher than it was (went from 7 to 9) just by drinking like a fish and eating watermelon! Well I had my 38week OB appointment and a BPP to check on the baby. At my normal appointment I am still not passing any proteins in my urine, thankfully. But my blood pressure has gone up again. Had it successfully controlled with meds around the 120/75 range, but now it is spiking up to 140/90. I took it again after the doctors appointment and it ( Read more... )

I will be 39wks tomorrow. This morning at eleven thirty I was dosing off for a nap when all the sudden I was startled awake by a really bad pain in the cervix area and a "POP" like noise... and i laid there for a minute thinking "well that was weird".
